What you can expect

Explore the wonders of two of Tropical North QLD's best highlights, the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, with an amazing 4WD tour! Combining stunning scenery with an in-depth look at the region's abundant flora and fauna, on this tour you'll join your expert naturalist guides in the morning then head out from either Cairns or Port Douglas along a wonderful coastal route. Take in the breathtaking views of the Coral Sea, before arriving at the Daintree River for a morning tea break. Hop on a vessel for an informative 1-hour guided river cruise right into the heart of this incredible rainforest, spotting crocodiles and other wildlife in the wild.

Next up, head up the Alexandra Range for some panoramic views of the green World Heritage Rainforest clashing with the vibrant blue of the ocean. Then, make your way further into the Daintree Rainforest for a guided walk on an elevated boardwalk through the rainforest.

Enjoy a delicious lunch followed by a refreshing rainforest swim in the heart of the rainforest. As we continue our drive, we stop at Cape Tribulation Beach for a scenic walk to the lookout to view where the "Rainforest meets the Reef." Spend time strolling along the famous Cape Tribulation Beach.

Your day is all capped off with a stop at the Daintree Ice-Creamery for a tropical fruit ice cream. Treat yourself to unique flavours of seasonal fruits of the orchard picked at their peak and transformed into an exotic selection of tropical ice cream, sorbets, and gelatos. A signature ice cream cup is included.

Then, it's time to cross over the mighty Daintree River via Ferry again on the journey back to Port Douglas and Cairns. This is a comprehensive Tropical North Queensland tour that covers all aspects of the Daintree and beyond - so book online today!

Explaination was great but lot of time on the drive only

It was from Billy Tea Safaris company. Vegetarian food option can be improved. The Rainforest explanation was great & instead of ice cream pick, we could have gone for some rainforest activity or BBQ/famous Billy Tea. Andriyas was good at his skills.

The Daintree Rainforest tour is so beautiful and the tour guide Yannick was very helpful and he explained everything so well and he look after us all the time, if you like nature this is a tour to do.

I strongly recommend to do a tour with this company. The tour guide knows so much about Daintree rainforest and he was very friendly and helpful, the ice cream was delicious, I tried chai with chocolate chips and coffee with cardamom and it was so good. If you like nature, and long day trips this tour is great.

Excellent day out, would highly recommend, great for families.

Pick up was on time and very easy for us as a traveling family of 5. Our guide, Nev, was excellent and pointed out various historic landmarks and pieces of information on the drive. We stopped regularly at points of interest and for beautiful scenery and photo opportunities. The River Cruise was really interesting, our guide on the river was really knowledgeable and we saw a few crocs, plus other wildlife. The rainforest walk on the boardwalk was easy and Nev provided lots of information about all the different parts of the rainforest. Cape Tribulation lunch was delicious and the beach was beautiful, again lots of opportunities for photos. The Bloomfield Track and swimming at the creek was delightful. The kids enjoyed the cool water after a warm day. Our final stop at Daintree Ice Cream was a nice way to end the day before heading back into Cairns. The whole tour was great! We saw lots of animals including crocodiles, a cassowary, white heron, kingfisher, lace monitor, peppermint stick insects, elysium butterflies, crabs, crayfish and even a little rescue wallaby. Although it was a big day, our kids - 12, 11 and 10, enjoyed it all. Would highly recommend!
